Rose otto e.o. is obtained by steam distillation from the flowers or solvent extraction (rose absolute). A pale-yellow (steam) or orange-brown (absolute) oil with deep floral and slightly spicy fragrance. Our Rose essential oil, from Bulgaria, is a 10% solution obtained by steam distillation and diluted in jojoba oil, sold in a spray bottle. Refills $2 off.
Main Components: citronellol, nerol, geraniol, neral (very complex: about 300 substances; in the absolute phenylethyl aclohol, decanal and terpinenol make up over 70% of all the ingredients).
