Our Lemon Essential Oil is steam distilled from the peel of lemons from Italy. Generally, lemon e.o. is widely available by cold expression from the peels, but in this way would contain photo-sensitizing compounds. Our oil does not have these harmful components. Clear liquid with a lemon peel scent. When comparing to the traditional pressed oil the steam distilled essential oil has the same clean scent but, with a smooth well rounded fragrance.
Main Components: limonene, pinene.
