Beta-Caryophyllene (BCP) is a sesquiterpene that is a major component in Cannabis, as well as it is present in essential oils of  basil, black pepper, copaiba balsam, black caraway, clove, cinnamon, hops and others. It binds selectively to the cannabinoid CB2 receptors mimicking cannabinoids. It is nonpsychoactive and has a potential therapeutic properties for the treatment of inflammation, pain, atherosclerosis, osteoporosis, depression, anxiety and cancer. BCP was classified as a dietary cannabinoid in 2008 by European scientists.

Our CBD-BCP oil contains natural beta-caryophyllene and humulene in 1:1 ratio. Both hops and cannabis share a common terpene, humulene. It is effective anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antibacterial, and appetite suppressant but does not bind to cannabinoid receptors.
