Obtained by steam distillation from peel of the fruits. Clear to pale yellow oil with sharp, fruity citrus-type fragrance.
Main Components: limonene, pinene, terpinolene, cineole.
Actions*: similar to lemon e.o.; antiseptic, antiviral, antispasmodic, insecticide, digestive tonic.
Applications*: lymphatic stimulant, depression and anxiety, acne, digestive problems.
Safety data: non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing (cold-pressed is phototoxic - not in this case).
